Lets just say I bought the car with it like that and it held up for 2 years with no problems at all. I am assuming the buyer would be getting this to use the bottem end.

I bet if you just put turbo in the title you would have doubled your bids.

lol, i never even though of that! I figured anyone who wanted one of these knew what he was looking for. i'm better off not having a bunch of ricers emailing me asking if this will fit in their civic lol I only got a few questions and they were ligitimate ones.

no, I've got 3 people wanting to give me 400 for it but I'm not interested in letting it go for that little. I'll rebuild it myself and throw the twin cam heads on it bottom end instead.
twin cams for ej22t

what heads would that be and how hard is it to put the turbo back on them? love the way they beath and would think they allow for more flow are lower rpm's. what heads gaskets would you have to use?
would bet that it is a very good running motor.
be well and enjoy the holidays. bepa

If you use the EJ20G or EJ20H heads they're already set up for turbo.

I know exactly what you mean.
"Wow, these things are great! Everyone wants one of these and that's a good price. You'll have no trouble selling that."
"You want to buy it?"
"Not me, man."
Or alternately:
"I need one of those so bad! I wake up at night with damp pants dreaming about these! How much?"
"$xxx or so."
"Wow, that's a good price. I'll think about it."
And you then say good bye to yet another apparent Bermuda Triangle victim.

I am trying to unload this crap and raise some funds. I got laid off last week and I'm screwed! I'm just going to go to craigslist and start a begging for help free handout thread

I got $400 for my shortblock. Wait a few days until the last-minute shopping and after-Christmas sales die down, you should see interest pick back up.

This is what I'm saying. I'm asking 400 for a completely running long block with a td-04 on it. slap it in and turn the key. I knew if i wanted to buy one for 400 I wouldn't be able to find one so cheap. Its always this way for me , no luck!

That really is a great deal. I want more for mine, with a rebuild kit included, but taken apart. Yours is turnkey with a bigger turbo. I think it's just this market. Seems that car people in New England either have no money or just buy expensive new cars.

If you could get it to SoCal for $400 I'd buy it.
Hold in there, I'm sure it's just a bad combo of time of year and the general 'slowdown' we are all feeling.
Good luck!

Personally no. But I home all day every day since I was laid off recenty and could be here for a trucker. I wish I could. I seem to have alot of interest far away from me...

If you have a wagon, the engine will fit behind the seats without a problem and not even really bother the handling. Me and another average guy drove one a couple hundred miles that way.

Actually i havent even got to drive my legacy LOL. Ive got a truck, its just that rhode island would require me to take a few days off work etc, its a long drive from where i live.

I'll ship all you want. I could care less. I'm just not paying for it! you need to find a trucking company that can pick up at a residence and let me know when they will be here. paypal me the 400 and a date and we are done. i'm in zip 02818 Expect shipping to be a few hundred dollars though...
