Well my car has a oem replacement not a REAL oem, but it is not performance orriented. Just thinking this is why my fuel economy is bad. People always tell me, why does your exhaust sound so bop bop bop bop, not a steady boxer sound. Even driving, just not a smooth sound very poppy. I am thinking it must have a exhaust leak somewhere. I am going to get a price on all the gaskets, and use some exhaust gasket silcone. Does the manifold gasket often leak? The tranny has been dropped and obviously the muffler has been replaced once so I am not sure if they replaced the gaskets. I believe all my heat shields have been removed at this point except maybe one for the manifold.

Items replaced without any change really include, coolant temp sensor (ECU one), o2 sensor ( OEM $100), air filter, fuel filter, knock sensor, plugs, wires, seafoamed, IAC cleaned, fuel injector cleaner, OEM thermostat, maybe a few other items. Also checked out all my electrical connections and grounds and added a few extras as well. No REAL noticeable change.

OH ya since i parted the car I found the problem haha. The stupid cat which was recently replaced was not oem and all the baffles broke, and so did the baffles in the muffler. Which probably created more restriction and not enough backpressure for o2 sensor feedback. Regardless fairwell 93 L!
