Is the Forester 5mt an upgrade?

If it does not grind in 2nd and 3rd and has fewer than 200k on it (as mine does) than yes I would call it an upgrade

is it the turbo forester or non-turbo? eiother way i'm pretty sure it's 4.11 or 4.44 final drive so you woulu need the rear diff as well

Yepp, Rear diff is needed.

Who here has upgraded to the Forrester 5mt?
