I have onwers manuals for every car I've ever owned as well as service records and misc records or anything that I purchased for the car. Also I have folders sectioned off for accidents, purchase, maintance, yes I have a small problem lol. I have extreamly bad OCD with keeping files and records for things. I now have a ton of paperwork from cars that I junked or sold and never gave the stuff to the new buyer. What should I do with it?

If you still had the cars, I'd say fine. But if they are long gone, then wtf?

Sell anything you can to people who own the same models. You should put all the records for old cars in a fire. Only save the records for cars you still own.

Normally, I give those to whomever buys the car. But what you do is okay too, I guess.

Sell off those old manuals! List it in the free stuff section of craigs list if you have to, but please let them go to a good home.

Burn the rest.
