Subject says it all.

I have a 92SS with a broken transmission mount. The rubber blocks have separated from the upper mount on both sides and it contributes to a clunk when the rear end grabs.

It seems the earlier legacy's use a two piece mount. The newer mounts are one piece. Before buying something that won't work can anyone shed some light on this topic?

The mount should be a one-piece design mount.

Josh, the parts books list a right and left side mount for model years 90-97. Then they go to the one piece mount. I am pretty sure the auto and manual mounts aren't interchangeable. I was curious if the newer WRX one piece mounts would work.

I take that back....I just looked at the manual, and yes it is two pieces.

Honestly though, I don't know why a newer one-piece AT mount wouldn't work though....

thanks, I don't have any experience with the newer models. I'll pick up one of the one piece units and report back.
