Question about lucas transmission fix

Hi guys. Ok well today was pretty pissed off as usual since it was snowing and my awd is very delayed. Anyway got a bottle of this crap. Seemed to work pretty good at the beginning, was kicking in around 2,000rpm range great. Shut off car, go out a hour or so later awd was still working great. Did something went out, drive car again awd did not work the whole way home BS. Nothing kicked in (power light on bouncing off redline you name it). So the question is, does lucas oil thicken the fluid? Or help it flow?
I am thinking it makes my issue worse. My fluid is always a perfect red. Just the awd is delayed, and does not work at all when cold. So I am thinking this would be a fluid issue, when it is warmed up after over 1 hour of driving, the awd will kick in pretty smooth and it will hold. So is there a better additive that is more of a synthetic blend that helps the fluid hold a good viscosity? Thanks. Going to probably drain the fluid soon if it continues this issue tomorrow. (Must have replaced the fluid like over 3 times by now).
