Ok, so the wagon I have, whenever I turn OFF the climate controls, be it the heat, a-c, or vent, what have you, I can STILL feel air coming into the cabin even when the button is in the OFF position, and I know that's not suppposed to happen. What could this be???

Also, there are two buttons on/near the auto shifter that I don't know what they do. First is a black button that sits near the shifter, no markings at all, and then there's the MANUAL button. What do these things do?

Your issue with the vents well. Maybe cycle the vents around. Don't really notice any air with mine in off though. Realisticall I always leave the vent on, good to have some circulation in the car.

The button on the front of the shifter is a override switch you can use so you can override the park relay that only works with teh car running and the brake needs to be applied. If that fails or you want to shift to N without a key in just hold the switch and move the gear shifter as you please.

The manual switch when depressed allows you to shift to 2 or 3 and let you start from that gear you selected. Good for loose traction issues from start off. Other then that not necessary.

I don't feel the air coming from the dash vents, more like from the floor and the top of the dash where it comes out for defrost....not sure if something's not closing like it should.

You will normally feel some air from the floor and defrost area when the mode selector is off.

The manual button keeps the tranny in 2nd or 2nd & 3rd, depending on the gear shift selector.
