Hey guys, wanted to give you first dibs on this vehicle that I will be selling on Ebay after the first of the New Year. I would like to see this go to somebody who can appreciate it. Otherwise, I'm listing and its gone. The wagon is complete and straight. Clear coat is peeling from the hood. Engine is sluggish as if the timing belt slipped a tooth. I will be selling it cheap !!

Welcome to the Board!
Can you give us more information on your wagon? How many miles on the car? Condition of tranny? Any rust on the body? Color? Stock or modified? Why are you selling? Where are you located? And, how cheap is cheap? Etc.
And if you can post pics that would be helpful to get your car sold.

Thanks 93 for the welcome. This vehicle was a trade in, been in So. California all its life. Suby has 186 K miles, tranny works great, no rust, color is white, and its totally stock with original alum. fact. wheels. Im selling it because I have alot of cars and not enough room. This has really gone overboard and out of control...lol. Location is Rowland Heights, Calif. $800.00 or obo. Clean title/ no salvage.

Is this the one that was recently on Ebay @$300 with no bidders? I was following it, but the listing was pulled.

Yes, 10 watchers on the first day, 38 watchers before I pulled it, nobody bidding, 2 hrs left, I knew where this was going. Charge !!!......it's a SNIPER WAR. You should have seen the ton of emails that came flooding afterwards and asking.....WHAT HAAAAPPENED ???
Besides, my girlfreind forgot to put a reserved price and didn't want to let it go that cheap nor to a person who didn't care for the car.

Sometimes the sniper wars have a happy ending.
I'll admit I was one of the watchers though.

I'll also admit that for me to get it past the wife (who coincidentally it would be for) it would have to go for sub-$500.
If/when you get to that point hit me up.

As far as not caring about the car....no worries on this board.
Either way, good luck!

How sluggish is sluggish? Can it make it back on a limp (65mph) to Portland, Oregon?

I personally wouldn't put it on the freeway until its checked out by a certified technician. Thats just cautious me, theres no noises but I havent started it in over a year.

What's your reserve going to on Ebay? Maybe we can keep it in the "family" if we know where we stand.

I'm down with that .......keeping it in the family. Reserve will be set slightly higher than mentioned now but if it stays here amoungst this group, I'll take $700 out the door.
To add one more incentive, I am attached to this baby and would be willing to help where I can in discounted parts or some minor repair labor. I'd rather it really stay here amoungst us freinds than, well, you know.

Alright guys, I just wanted to drop a note that on Monday the 16th this car is going on Ebay. I would be possibly starting it at $700.00 and due to the charges that ebay makes it would bring it down in the 5's. If anybody is intrested in it for $500.00 , let me know as I would rather see it stay amoungst us collectors than go to someone whos going to kill it. Thanks, John
