I'm asking for $4000. I still haven't found work after being laid off in December! I have to unload this car. It is on craigslist right now for 4k.
THE HIGHEST OFFER I GET WILL TAKE THIS CAR AND EVERYTHING I HAVE LISTED IN THIS POST!!!!
I lost my job this past x-mas and have not been able to find work! I need to sell this car to pay my mortgage!!!
I am into this car for 10k in mods alone. Please read on.
1994 legacy wagon sport 160k ish miles, body in good shape but some rust coming in on the rear quarters and left front lower fender but in whole no major dents or dings anywhere. This was the cleanest legacy I ever saw when I bought it 3 years ago but has succumb to new england winters. See links below for pics of the rust.
The GOOD:
Motor:
-This has a fully rebuilt ej22t long block!!!
-This motor has less than 5 thousand miles on it since rebuild.
-It was completely rebuilt by a machinist, the cylinder walls rehoned, all new factory pistons, new rings, a 3 angle valve job on the heads all new head bolts, new gaskets, the works. This cost me just labor $1500 on the motor.
-Also, I purchased all OEM subaru parts, new oil pump, new timimg belt tensioner, new water pump, new alternator, new plugs, wires, coilpack. basically the whole engine is new.
-ALSO!!! I am throwing in my other ej22t motor with td-04 and stand to whoever gets this car. along with my spare saab IC (This motor is the one that was originally in this car and is in full working order! Mileage is the same as car 160k ish).
Notes on Motor that is in car:
I have never run the motor non-intercooled. I have a saab setup on it with custom piping.
Aftermarket Add-ons:
Exhaust:
-Aftemarket header and catless up-pipe.
-NEW IHI VF-34
-Full CES exhaust with the split down pipe ceremic coated and full stainless 3 inch back to the straight muffler (no cat).
Electronics:
-vrg3 fuel cut defencer
-Avc-r with the custom in dash installation
-Alpine cd mp3 deck
-Pioneer coaxials
-Clifford alarm remote start combo with turbo timer included.
-Cheapo round driving lights.
Brakes:
I just did a few weeks ago.
-OEM replacement brembo rotors all around.
-OEM pads all around.
-I epoxied the calipers red also for the mini ricer look.
-I completely took them apart and checked for binding and re-greased everything.
Suspension:
The suspension is stock slthough it looks like the struts have been replaced already at some point prior to my ownership.
Interior:
This car is clean! I'm not kidding, its clean and none of the panels are bitched up or missing or broken.
Wheels:
-You get the winter wheels which are factory 5 spoke painted gun metal gray with all season bridgestones with almost all the tread on them.
-You also get the summers which are the stock 95 legacy snowflake style with brand new Bridgstone Potenza S-03 pole position 205/50 ZR16 summer tires on them!
-ALSO!!! You get 15" Konig theory wheels that came on the car (no tires).
Transmission:
-4EAT Automatic transmission -The tranny is good and has not given me any sign of failing.
The sunroof:
-I just completely took it out and did the resealing job on it and it rained here for almost a week and perfect.
The BAD:
After doing the brakes I now have an ABS light. I think some rust flakes may have stuck onto one of the magnetic pickups at one of the wheels but I have not diagnosed this problem. I did not have an abs light before doing the rotors and pads.
Also, I just had a new windshield put in and wouldn't you know a stone chip cracked it within 2 weeks of installing it! Its on the passenger side and does not obstruct the drivers view.
