whatsup,

So i just rebuilt my ej22t short block and i have installed some Ej20H heads along with ej25 usdm intake. Fist start up and it revs to 3k rpm's and drops down to apx 900 rpms and it really feels like its missing. So i do a cylinder power ballance test and start disconnecting plug wires one by one and all of them seem to be affected so i have no idea...what would you guys recommend the car just dies out after apx 1 min or so.. And the car is not throwing any codes..

Im thinking it may be the DOHC timing belt it if is just 1 tooth off on any of the marks would it cause this? Or would the ecu compensate for this?

- What throttle body are you using?
-What coolant crossover pipe are you using?
-How did you confirm that the heads are e20H?
-Which cam and crank sensors did you use?
-Which cam pulleys did you use?
-Which IAC valve did you use?
-Which spark plugs are you using?

-What vacuum are you reading?
-What were the cylinder compression readings?

I hope that answering these questions will help others assist you better.

someone else MIGHT have the same problem, and this could be the key to them getting fixed. BTW congrats on finding the fix...
