Sway Bar Endlink Source?

My 92 legacy is in need of new endlinks for the rear sway bar. They use the ones like this

Besides the dealer does anyone know where to find them aftermarket? I saw nothing listed on Autozone's website. I've got a popping in the rear when going over bumps, and after looking at those bushings in the endlinks, they're TOAST.

I'm not sure what the ID of the Subaru bushings are, but Energy Suspension makes some universal end-link bushings, as well as complete links. They're the old GM style links, which are similar to yours but longer. You may be able to use the bushings and washers, or maybe even use the complete kit with a shorter bolt.

Here's a link: http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/endl.html

Most halfway decent parts stores carry or can get this stuff pretty easily...I don't know about the 'Zone though.

If you need new ones, I'd suggest going ahead and upgrading. Whiteline makes a nice set with a stiffer bushing.

I almost forgot about Whiteline...until I saw their prices for a stinkin' pair of endlinks!

For an endlink that simple, you could easily whip up a pair with quality polyurethane bushings (like the Energy stuff above) for something closer to twenty dollars, and I'll wager they would work every bit as well as Whiteline links.

JMHO of course....

yeah this is a winter beater. Don't need to spend fortune fixing the end links. I was trying to eliminate a rear popping noise. after tonight it almost sounds like the strut mount plate is making it. Coming from near the rear speaker (it's not loose and it has plently clearance), and when I push that side of the car up and down I can hear a thud towards the strut.

Funny all the suspension stuff was replaced two years ago for standard suspension. Makes me wonder what parts were reused.

Are you talking about the bushings between the lateral link? If you are, I covered it in this thread:

If you're talking about the one's inside the swaybar, your best bet is to buy 2 new ones from your dealer. I think they cost me $13 a piece. Had a hard time pressing the new ones into the bar. If I had to do it all over again, I'd just shim the bushing with some washers first and see if that helps. They do have a tendency to dry out beyond the help washers provide though.

well it's not the endlinks. it's the top strut mount. The nut was popping up and down with the rod, so I tightened it, but it still makes a noise, so the top strut mount probably needs to be replaced.
