If I ever get my rebuild finished I would like to take my car to a track with lots of turns that I can learn how to drive better on. Or learn how to race.

I've never been on a track before nor raced cars but I'm dieing to try it.

Is there a track like this in western washington?

Where do I get started? I just don't really want to street race much. I'm sure once in a while I won't be able to help myself but I'd like to keep it safe and legal.

Maybe autocross too.

There's also a track in Tenino, Southsound speedway, I believe.
Then there's Pacific Raceway in kent, and PIR down in Portland.

Do they let you on the speedway? I was looking for a track with corners and stuff. The speedway is just a small oval track. But it is like 15 minutes or less from my house.

I-5 is not far from you. It has some nice sweeping higher speed curves, and some straightaways where you can really open it up some.
Speed is limited to 70mph, you can go faster, but the course marshall will let you know you have gone too fast by signaling you with their flashing red, blue and white lights.
