Just got my 1st legacy, a 93 AWD L wagon 5-sp, and 1st gear is considerably louder than the others. No grinding or anything, just more gear noise, kind of like the way reverse is a bit louder than the others in almost every car. Anyone feel the same or have thoughts on this? It has plenty of fluid, as I just drained it, and filled with synthetic 75/90 gear lube.

Mine does that too. I think it was abused by the previous owner, fingers crossed that it doesn't get any worse!
