since i got the car the cruise control hasnt work. when i press the control button it lights up but it doesnt stay pressed in. and i have all the controlls but maybe it could be a fuse somewhere. when i press it in i hear it click somewhere over on the left like maybe where the ECU might be

When you press it, its not suppost to stay pushed in, a light should come on and thats it. Then when you are up to speed push the little lever down hold it for a second then let go of the pedal and it SHOULD start accelerating on its own. I find mine sort of picky just need to figure out the lever and time it takes before it starts activating throttle. Try hitting or tapping on the little box on the line for the cruise control under the hood. Should work hopefully also considering the relay is working. Like i said it's figity you think its not working but it usually is just need to play around with it a bit.

just remembered i disconnected the cable from the throttle body. however do you have to hold the lever down for a couple of seconds

ya like a second or two usually. Then let off the pedal.

This post is quite helpful. My friend is having trouble on how to make his cruise control work. Since my friend is kinda newbie and not still familiar with his car, he is really having a hard time how to operate the cruise control on his car or he is thinking if it is really busted and needed a fix. Lucky to find your post which I think would be very helpful to my friend. I'm gonna let him read this so he could try out the instructions you mentioned. Anyway, thanks for sharing this tips.

miine had that problem it was the cruise control computer i replaced it and all fixed the light would come on but go off when i let off
