WTB: Knock sensor?

well just bought my subaru about 2 weeks ago.. cars great. few lil things here and there but i love it. but a friend of mine hows me our check engine light checker.. and well i ran about 4 or 6 codes.. one of wich being a knock sensor.. i would liek to know how much one would cost.. and whats the big deal with it? it sounds expensive and kinda scares me.. plus im getting a strange noise comming from the block at iddle.. it iddles good but kinda acts stubborn. and on top of that im not sure if its a mass airflow or what but i got some gnarly turbo lag and seems liek my turbos the only thing pushin the car.. idk. any help would be nice. thanks everyone.
