update, i've been reading through some threads and it sounds like it'll work, just wounding if anyone has first hand experience with them?

my cross over pipe and up pipe have developed leaks due to rust, and stock replacement looks to be close to 1000$ so if this is a direct bolt on, i'd much rather go with this?

No idea on this particular make. Anything that fits an 02 WRX should fit the Legacy Turbo.

Lawdy...$1k for a stock setup? OUCH!!!

If I were in your situation, I'd go look on NASIOC, there's always guys unloading their stock exhaust parts. I'm sure you can find something there for pretty cheap, if not really cheap.

Although it's somewhat local to CO, you might also check out www.awdpirates.net . Tons and tons of WRX guys there selling stuff too. Good luck!

I (as well as most) dont trust those.The stock unit is proven overall better than most tubular rigs.You can find an old OEM one someone else has ripped of to replace with one of these ,Wrx OEM ones are the same.I have 2 spare legacy manifolds stripped of heatshields if you need one.Those things are pretty but a stocker with heat wrap looks and works better IMHO.
