Hello to all!!! My name is Robbie this will be my first post here and hopefully all you in the tacoma washington area can be helpful. Most of you will know my brother on here, Jake_15. Enough intro here's why I need help.

While we were attending the SRP bbq some d-bag apparenty thought he would like to use my car for his joy riding instead of his own. This guy had some balls too shortly after we arrived at PIA (where the car was stolen) he graciously drove in front of the shop (don't know if it was on purpose) and we tried to chase him down and failed because of traffic... Car was last seen in the parkland/tacoma area around PIA on 138th and 8th avenue. If anyone see's the car please let the fella's at the shop know or call the police. Thanks guys!!!

Pics:

Obvious modifications to the car: Exhaust, BOV, HUGE P.I.A stickers on the rear quarter panel.

Plate is 440-SUI
P.I.A: 253-536-0389
Also my number is 253-209-7033 just in case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those links to pics don't work.

Sorry to hear about it, car thieves are shit!

That's really shitty. Sorry to hear about it. I'm sure you'll eventually find get it back but unfortunately that usually means it's either been wrecked and abandoned or stripped of the most obvious valuables. I hate thieves.

On a side note, I own your brothers old White 91 SS! Still doesn't have an engine in it but one day it will.

I'll keep an eye out for a legacy with PIA stickers but I don't know what it looks like since those links aren't working. Post the pics on XS.to it's stuper easy and you don't need an acount. I live south of olympia, so I probably won't see it.

Are you saying that the thieves primered over the PIA stickers and are still driving it around near the shop?

Yeah the guy has been seen twice driving within a couple miles of the shop. I put a new pic up of it.

Who in the hell would steal a car, and drive it around the area they stole it from?
If this guy gets away with it, these cops should be fired.

Hope you get it back! Looks nice.

More people get away with it than not from my experience. Cops usually have quite a lot to look out for, 1 specific vehicle you happen to love doesn't get preference over the 5 vehicles involved in various shoplifts, 2 hit and runs, 3 other missing vehicles, and that guy who just made a left turn on red right when the cop may have noticed your car, but decided to pursue the traffic offender hoping he can nail a DUI.

That really sucks ass, I hope your car isn't trashed or stripped (or both) when you get it back. That happened to my grandmother's car once. The cops found abandoned, but thankfully intact with only alcohol stains all over the seats & carpets.

Yeah, there's no incentive to catch thieves—prosecution costs money while citizen harassment pads the state coffers.

Really sorry to hear. I hope the assholes just took it for a joyride and you find it in one piece.

This sucks. 10 years ago, no one gave a rat's ass about our cars, and we liked it that way.

Unfortunately attention goes both ways. I had to take my first leggy to the dealer for some work and it got broken into while parked outside. The small blue leds in the foglights that ran 24/7 and the red/white cb antenna on my trunk kinda drew the wrong attention during the night. I really think it was an inside job, though.

Sorry to hear you lost your whole car. I'm sure you're feeling hurt and a little lost. But there will be better days ahead.

I have my fingers crossed that the damage in not severe, and that the low life SOB gets a significant visit in our fine state correctional; system.

In reality he's probably an illegal, and will just get deported so he can jump right back across the border and come back again....

that sucks. Threw spike strips, crashed into a fence.

Subaru Impreza? lol, guess that would automatically be assumed when you are dealing with a stolen Subaru...

The suspect was apprehended by the K9 unit that was tracking him around the neighborhood.
We can only hope that the dog tore the shit out of him.
Residing in Kennewick, he's no doubt an 'undocumented'. Hopefully he waits in a holding facility for a long time before he's deported. Dscooby could probably shed some light on the process.

Glad to hear it was found.

How stupid do you have to be to steal a car and then keep driving it in the same general area? What a dumb shit. He could have stripped the thing by now and had it all sold off and been done with it.

Deserves to be caught. Then he broke into a house? Man he's fucked.

Glad they found your car but it sounds like he may have messed it up pretty good before they caught him.

Glad to hear they atleast got it back. Even if the shell is tore up I'm guessing there's a lot of valuable go-fast bits and such that you'll be able to swap.

But hopefully it's not too bad. Best of luck with it and glad to hear you're atleast getting it back.

That's awesome they were able to actually find your car. IMO police are normally worthless. Hopefully the damage wasn't too great.
