Hi! Found this place by accident the other week and thought I might register. I live in Australia and I own a 1991 Subaru Liberty sedan. Its been a really good car since I have had it and treat it like a baby!!I plan on lowering it soon and a nice exhaust! Hopefully I will get heaps of tips/suggestions throughout my time here!!

Welcome, M8...

Very nice car! Post more pictures.

Dig around, there's more info in here than you'll ever need. The search engine is a little creaky, so try as many different key words or phrases as you can think of if you're not getting the info you want.

What part of Oz do you live in?

Every search engine on every forum in the whole wide world is creaky!!! haha! I live in Perth on the west coast. Yeah there is heaps of info for me here. The legacy/liberty forums in Australia are not very friendly to the first generation Legacy/Liberty I have found! Good to see one here dedicated to them!

Yeah, I am a member there but its a bit poorly run in my personal opinion. Its still good for some local input but it lacks oomph!haha!

Dude, where do you think the EJ20G, EJ20K and EJ207 come from? Their birthplace......Japan. And yes, they look amazing over there.

That's like a Japanese person owning a base model V-6 Mustang and asking if they have a better version over in America.

Haha well I guess the best way to look at it would be that it's not a completely stock JDM Legacy. There were a few different JDM Legacy models though: the base models we have here and then the turbo versions were called the Legacy RS and then there was the Legacy RS-RA which could be looked at as the STi of its time. It was actually the first Subaru that STI worked on.

Yes, mine is the car 'completely stock'. It has a Canon muffler now so it sounds great! Mine has 194XXX kms on it and those wheels are from a 98 WRX. They were originally gold but were painted blue/grey before I bought them.
