Stalls in memory clear and D-Check Mode above 2500 RPM

I can drive the car when I don't have either or modes hooked up. But if I do the car will not go past 2500-3000 RPMs and it will snap and pop when it's in any gear but first. Just trying to see what codes I'm throwing but can't get the car in 4th going above 2000 RPMs.

Do any codes show up just in read memory mode, only black connectors connected, and engine off?

It was the O2 sensor and the HLA causing the stall. It was just that when I unhooked both connecters it ran better so I thought it was stalling because of trying to read codes. Next morning came around and it was stalling with the connects unhooked too. So yea, crazy stuff. Thanks again XD
The codes I had were:
22---replaced with a whole new coaxial cable
32---replaced oxygen sensor
35---haven't done anything with yet
42---calibrated TPS
44---Using a MBC now
49---Just a fluke, didn't have the rest of the intake made yet and was seeing if the car will run.
The only codes that are still showing now are 35 and 44

Leave the existing duty wastegate solenoid installed so you won't have a code. Alternatively you can use a dropping resistor from the AT cars. It's a direct plug in for the wastegate solenoid.
Replace the canister purge solenoid. These things cause some weird eroneous issues on some cars.

thanks for the info on the rest of the stuff. I think that I threw away my wastegate solenoid though. What do you mean by "dropping resister". Can I just put a resister in it's place? As for the purger. I guess I got to run to the dealership and find out the cost of one.

The transmission has a large power resistor that is used to soften shifts. You can use this resistor.
Here's some pictures

thats what it is!
i always wondered what that silver thing was, never had the guts to unplug it.
so its just meant to soften up shifts eh, if unplugged would it cause "sportier" shifting?

Don't do that. It'll mess things up over time. The valve body isn't designed to handle full line pressure. The trans won't downshift properly.
I speak from experience. I unplugged the resistor, and it did firm up shifts, but the trans wouldn't down shift, and over time (few weeks) it created some weird issues, even after plugging it back in. So I would not recommend messing with that resistor.
