Impressive!

You did a great job taping it up. If you REALLY want to make it look professional, you should wet sand it with some 1000 grit paper, respray it and then wet sand it again and then clear coat it. Lots of work, but it'll give it a better finish.

You should swap in or paint the door handles to black. It will look so sick then!

Dante - I was thinking about doing the door handles black.... but what could I use on the "chrome" metal that wouldn't flake or peel?

asc_up - I might just have to do that when I get to that roof.....

I seem to recall coming across a liquid used to etch chrome so that I could be painted way back when my heart still belonged to Mopar.

Put it on the part, let it dry, wash it off, Primer, sand, paint.

should be somthing of the like still around. If your heart set on doing it Id check your local auto-body shops. They would be able to point you in the right direction.

you could also just junkyard search some black handles and trim peices.

If you get some painted door handles from a junk yard, you could paint them much easier. Not so easy to find, though. I still need one more for my driver's door.

I was asking about the black handles and the tray under the passenger seat because the one I just bought came with those options....would it be a LS wagon?

I think some kind of base model might have had them as far as I know, the LS and turbos had them painted body color. All LS were automatic, FWIW.

nice thanks Evolution!

I've been driving it for a few days now and it seems to be pretty solid!

Brakes, Struts, Plugs, Wires, Battery, Alloys, and Horn all to come from the parts car.

It's too bad the new one's not green since one of these on the top right would be perfect:

I've been doing some research to try and figure out what model legacy (L, LS, LSi...etc.) the new one is...

from the options that my wagon has and the reading I've done...I've come to this conclusion.

I have just bought a 1994 Legacy Ti outdoor wagon.

1994 Legacy Ti Outdoor wagon came with.....
Legacy L All-Wheel-Drive with value Option Group #2
plus:

mud flaps, (have)
woven cloth interior (instead of plush), (have)
under passenger seat storage tray, (have)

rear cargo net (gone)
luggage rack with Bike attachment, (luggage rack there, Bike attachment not)
rear stabilzer bar, (have)
