There probably garbage. I use silverstar bulbs and they are extremely good as long as your lens are fine. I will take pics actually off how bright my lights are.

I think it's one of those too good to be true situations. Plus any product that lists "high quality" as a feature is probably anything but. I've always stuck to XtraVisions.

Ya that's why I asked, can you get those bulbs at any run of the mill auto parts store?

They're not any brighter than a stock H4 bulb. THey're rated at the exact same lumens as the stock Halogen. Only way to get them brighter is to up the wattage. For the price you get ripped for silverstars you can get true 80/100 watt h4/9004/9007 bulbs off ebay or from Automod that WILL be brigther... And they will last as long if not longer.

Overwattage bulbs have a shorter lifespan due to the higher temps and therefor softer filament.

The thing about Silverstars is that their "brighter light" claim is made against old, worn-out bulbs. It says so right on their packaging (in fine print) that their 20% brighter claim is tested with competing bulbs at 80% output (presumably to simulate them being several years old). You're paying almost 3 times the price of standard bulbs for a slightly blue tint that you perceive as being brighter simply because it's whiter (but doesn't actually improve vision against a good-condition cheap bulb, as I found out after wasting $40 on them in high school once).
If I ever spend more than $10 on headlamps again, it'll be an actual upgrade such as the overwattage lamps listed above (although I'd have to do something about the crappy plastic lenses before hand).
And uhhh.... yeah. Back to the OP, my guess is that those are generic H4 bulbs with a blue tint on the glass (the price, $10.47 shipped, fits that theory). Correct me if I'm wrong, but actual Xeon HID lights are a direct-projecter type and don't relfect back into the housing like halogens (and the advertises bulbs) do, right?

Actually, I bought this EXACT set of bulbs off ebay; and yes, they are garbage. They worked great for about a week and then one burned out, followed by the other one 4 days later. I was already in the parts store buying a new set of Sylvania bulbs less than 2 weeks after I received these junkers in the mail. Don't even bother.
