I found these: These are brand new in the box a set of 4 ( 2 front 235065-235066 struts , 2 Rear 235069-235070 Struts )
wondering if anyone knew if they were the right fitment for my 92 Legacy L 4wd wagon? and also.... Im thinking of running stock springs with these. will that give me the saggy rear and lifted front look??

You can look up your car's application on KYB's website

Sweet!!! they are right!! but now.. from the research I've done the stock springs on the gr2s will make the rear end sag....could I do something like have forester springs in the rear with stock springs in front??? basically I like the stance of my car now and don't want to loose any clearance.

What research have you done that suggests the stock springs on the GR2's will make the rear end sag?

from the search function here at legacy central.....I may have miss read something though. I did spend a couple hours reading through misc. suspension posts.......so I may have put a couple diff. posts together as well. Thank you very much for the help!! now I guess its time to get some gr2s!

I'm also looking to go GR-2s but not sure what spring to use, or 100% of what will work on my wagon. As far as I can find, WRX struts, STi struts, OBS struts, and the once they say will fit. Im just trying to find what set will work best as for cost/parts for my 92 LS.

There is a phenomenum with the GR2 struts where for some reason the front strut perches are higher than some of the stock struts which causes the front end to raise slightly. That may be what you found. If this is the case, unfortunately, I don't really know what to say about that.....

If you use STI springs on stock struts or GR2s they will be too short. I tried it. It'll drive I'm sure but when the car was lifted off the ground I was able to hold the rear spring in my hand and move it up and down on the strut! So if you caught some air or something it could come out of place and possibly break something. That just wasn't going to cut it for me so I sold my brand new GR2s for a pretty big loss and bought STI struts and springs. Maybe

My whiteline springs are like that. It's just sort of the nature of the beast with lowered springs.
I've had the whitelines on my car for probably 6 years or so without any problems. Granted I haven't done any wicked sweet jumps with it....
