Turbo -> NA flywheel compatibility?

Post by who1981 »

I guess my question boils down to:
Will a non-turbo (push type) clutch and pressure plate fit on, and work properly with a flywheel from a turbo (pull type) vehicle?

I have a '90 NA 5MT Leg (with a very bad clutch), I can get a WRX ACT Streetlight flywheel cheep (less than a resurface)! Will this work?

Are Turbo and NA flywheels even different? Other than perhaps the Turbo fwheel having a 5mm larger friction surface?

Thanks,
Stephen

Nope. Won't work. They are different. Different disc size and bolt pattern.

Thanks,
First real answer I've found.
