Just kind of testing the waters here.I have made a prototype bracket which relocates the coolant tank for those who have installed an intercooler, obviously this approach requires deleting the A/C.Which isnt a problem for many.Anyways im just wondering how many may be interested in this. The one pictured is just a prototype,i am a fabricator and am capable of production quality parts. However i wont be making these unless enough people want them,so if you do please speak up.

Also i was able to use extra factory hoses to make it work but that should be easy regardless, hell maybe i could even make a hose kit to go with it :-D .You may notice that the bracket uses just one of the mounts on the tank, however it is really quite stout and definately stronger than leaving it hang under the intercooler by the hoses

Im guessing that made,painted/coated and shipped would be maybe around $50 to be worth my time.

Awesome. Unfortunately I'd like to keep my AC.

Yeah, if my A/C didn't work like a charm I'd be going that exact route for sure! I located mine just about the ABS unit.

I have my tank mounted in the A/C compressor spot using a different style bracket. Have you checked that in the engine bay yet? It looks like you will be very close to the hood.

I think you are right about clearance though i suspect it will fit.If it does not it will be very easy to alter its position lower in the same spot without dramatic changes to the bracket, and the same hoses will still work,in fact maybe better.Again just a prototype at this point but the engine will be in my car soon so i will know for sure then. The main reason i am confident it will fit is the fact that it is in the same plane as the top of the oil filler which is right next to it.

Kind of forgot about this thread.Ive been thinking about producing a whole bunch of stuff lately and this is one thing i am still interested in putting out.The bracket is excellent and has been field tested, there are 0 clearance issues and installation is a snap if you dont have A/C.
