N/A awd axles on a turbo awd legacy?

Hey guys can I do this? I MIGHT swap over my axles from my 93 wagon to the 94. Passenger side axle looks to be original and it is knocking from time to time when turning, but no broken boot. I might just get another set of axles though two new front ones. Do 2001 legacy axles work on my 94 turbo? Only reason I ask is the 2001 axles have a better boot. The 2001 axles with the better boot are actually like $30 cheaper to! Only $100 a pop
