Anyone try cleaning there o2 sensor?

Post by ericem »

Hey, did some searching didn't see any threads. Looked around google and it seems like it could help possibly. Trying to do some little things to get the fuel economy a bit higher. I am thinking Ill just let it soak in fuel, brake cleaner, sea foam, something like that that will break up carbon. Any opinions on doing this? Thanks.

Buy a new one. You might be able to get some of the carbon off, but to be honest, there's not much more you can do to clean it considering the fact that it's exposed to 1000*F air all the time...

Ya that's what I was thinking lol. Great another $100. Ill get it probably July or something, sometime when I am working. Unless fuel economy gets better on it's own :)
