LOL, I live in my garage most of the time...in Longmont.
Whenever I'm not taking care of the kids I'm doing something with somebody's car(s). My wife and I also own a sign shop in Ft. Collins, we do banners, decals, vehicle wraps, etc.

I've driven through Laramie, and first impression, yeah I would agree with you.

It's just a town in the middle of nowhere pretty much. I stopped to get gas on my way up to Seattle from Houston.

just imagine that little Podunk town in the middle of no where that the hot blond's car breaks down. Then she ends up staying with the homicidal maniac for three days waiting for parts to come in for t3h car. then narrowly escaping her fate runs to the car which is magically fixed and starts right up allowing her to run out of town as fast as she can. pretty much Laramie is that town...
also you have 20mph+ winds constantly.

this describes it pretty good

anyone know what a wyoming wind sock is?
wyoming starts to be a cool place once you get up towards sheridan where i was on a job last summer for about a month. its a different place for sure. plated two stroke sport quads buzzing around, open containers in a vehicle legal, 70 year old cowboys with two revolvers on their belt, drive thru liquor stores, crazy rodeo weekends, very beautiful scenery, great hunting and fishing, etc. northern wyoming has more of a feeling of freedom than other places I have lived. not sure I would enjoy a winter up there without a snow machine though.
southern wy pretty much sucks. you can feel it when you cross the CO border.

When I was driving through WY, the wind was blowing up sand which essentially sand blasted the entire front of my car. Windshield, hood, lights, bumpers, etc. I was pissed.

most of the colorado subaru owners hang out at awdpirates.net. There's only a few of us that have the old school legacy's.

I think I may be the only mountain representative on here. I'm on pirates as well, but don't usually spend a lot of time over there.
I dispatch, drive and go rafting for a living/fun. I spend a ridiculous amount of time in a ridiculously cozy garage working on my own 2 rides as well as many friends' cars. I'm hoping to break into the auto-x scene a bit now that my swap is done.
