Oh and it does not have a turbo this is the only year they added "gt" without a turbo. what makes it a gt is a raised roof, manual tranny, the seats, rims, and roof rack.
Really? I didn't think any of the GT's came with a turbo motor?

Here the SS is refered to as a GT.

You know the SS is only the turbo sedan and not the wagon right? I believe it stands for Sport Sedan. The turbo wagons are TW or Touring Wagon.

No USDM turbo GT until 2005, correct? 3rd gen didn't get a turbo, did it?

Correct. After 1994, no Legacy got a turbo motor until 2005. (Baja doesnt count!)
