I am just wondering someone on USMB suggested replacing the filter on supposedly this solenoid. However is it really important at all? Can't the filter get clogged from lets say, me rinsing it, or spraying oil over it lets say? Can I just replace the filter. Right now it is raining so I don't feel like popping the hood to see if it can be removed.

I suppose it could get nasty, but I haven't really heard of anyone changing these things.

Well I checked mine. Filter was 100% clean. Housing was dirty though. Cleaned it, made no difference lol. Time for a new o2 sensor =D
