I used the OEM spacer when I installed my speakers. Drilled out the rivet holes to detach the OEM speaker from it. Then drilled new holes that would match the new speaker on the spacer.

You should be able to get plastic spacers at any stereo shop, best buy, etc.

thx for the reply ill try both drill out rivet and check for plastic

btw do you know if those plastic spacer are inclined like the original one.

is there a reason why they make a side deeper than the other except for making the speaker look like straigh with the door?

also i dunno if those spacer will fit the original hole if not what should i do?

drill new hole and put a screw with taro on the other side?

The plastic spacers are not inclined.

They should work. I've 1" spacers in my car since 96 or so.
