One of my cv boots broke a couple of months ago, and I probably
didn't notice it soon enough, so now I'll have to get a new cv joint.
Thought that it would be a good idea to change them both (245.000km
on the meter), and I just wanted to ask if you have any opinions
regarding stock or aftermarket ones.
I have currently 'bout 260hp in my car, and that's a bit more than
the original 200hp, maybe I should consider "upgrading" this part to
be on the safe side?

I replaced my cv joints about 6k miles ago. I got to see the old ones once
they were removed. They seem quite robust to start with, but the main
factor is the torque that you apply to the wheels in a four wheel drive car.
Under good traction conditions you are splitting the torque to the wheels by
four, or sending 25% of your available power to each of the four wheels.
That being said, your cv joints (as well as many other parts in the
drivetrain) see less stress than those in a two wheel drive car or part time
4wd vehicle.
