And oh my god...
I love this turbo.
Spools a little bit slower than the vf10. But not much. Its a lot quiter than the vf10.
Its faster than the vf10 with less boost. I was running the vf10 on 15ish lbs. And I'm running the 24 on 12 ish.
Yea. This is a sick little turbo!
Oh! And it has hella more top-end but still fully spooled at about 2500 - 2800 rpm.
For the inlet I took a sharp 90* ABS Plastic sewer pipe that was the same outerdiameter as the turbo inlet and took a propane torch to it and heated up the plastic so it was moldable and shoved it on the turbo. Then, while it was still hot I put a worm-gear clamp on it to make it seal to the turbo. Worked great. Fits great!

I have a VF24 that will be going on with my new engine but I'm using an under manifold intake.
I'm hoping to hold around 16-18psi to redline but with the 2.35 stroker and DOHC heads it might be a little small, time will tell. On the upside, the spool should be great.

Nice! A VF24 is almost the same size as a VF39, correct?
I think they both have a P18 exhaust housing, but the VF24 has a slightly smaller compressor size.
Either way, I'm sure it's fun!

Once the motor is done (1-2 months) the turbo will be on a 2.5L DOHC motor... It should spool even faster lol.
From what I hear they generally hold about 17 to redline.
And Aaron... Yea, it has the P18 and I compared it to my friends vf43... They were sooo similar. It was crazy how close they were.

I've been driving around with the 24 all day... I love this turbo lol
And I discovered its a ball bearing turbo!
the thing keeps spinning after you shut off the car! Sounds like a space ship landing!

I wouldn't think that's too good since you don't have any oil pressure.....but it's probably not a big deal.

did it on my IHI nissan turbo all the time. it still has oil, it means you have a good ball bearing.
