Hey guys, I have 99 legacy L Wagon. I'm try to put on the forester lift. I have the front springs and top perches off a 99 Forester , sitting on new 99 legacy spec struts. They've been on about 4k, the drivers side strut is now blow, I replaced the front sway bar, because it was bent/wrapped. Now before I go replacing the front struts again, is it going to be best to have forester spec struts also, am I missing any other parts?

Welcome!

1. This site deals mainly w/the '89-94 Legacy model years.
2. Lifted Legacy owners are in the minority on here.
3. Check out http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/ or http://www.subaruforester.org/ for much more lift info.

Here's a LINK to my experience w/Outback and Forester lifts.

The Forester struts left a bigger gap (top of tire to fender) in front vs. the back. The Outback ('96-'99) struts are bit better balanced for the Legacy.
Also, you said you were "sitting on new 99 legacy spec struts"..if they only have 4K on 'em, they should be covered by a warranty.
Good Luck
Td
