You're not low on brake fluid, are you?

It was then I filled it. Floater maybe stuck?

Yeah, I'd check that. Check the rubber gasket in the cap -- it extends down into the reservoir as the fluid level drops, and you're supposed to push it back up when you add fluid or replace worn pads. It may be pushing the floater down.

A loose parking brake cable won't trip the light.
