To be clear, you're converting a turbo car to N/A?
Then, yes, or you can cut a notch in the somewhat valuable crossmember's extended wall on the right side for exhaust clearance or have an exhaust shop fab up a new pipe on the right side to go under the wall and up to the manifold. Or, you can use the turbo exhaust and have a pipe fabbed to take the place of the turbocharger.

I read it that they're putting an NA engine into an SS chassis (I'm doing the same - long, boring story).
See evolutionmovement's post below.
Good luck.

No it won't. The turbo x-member has a wall that extends lower on the passenger side to make up for loss of rigidity the up pipe clearance pocket would have left. The front horizontal longitudinal pipe on the N/A exhaust wants to go through this wall. I have an example of it in my garage and is a big reason the car's been parked for almost 4 years. The amount of space needed is more than an inch.

Craptastic....
Thanks for the head's up.
(Note to self: Subarus are 'almost' like Legos.)
Edit: Besides the crossmember, the front SS/Tubo's swaybar is lower on the passenger side (to fit under the crossmember?) and may also get in the way.
The NA's swaybar fits in the turbo 's crossmember w/out issue...@ least on my '90 swap.

I was a little surprised myself. And annoyed.
