Hey guys, just found the forum. Sweet Moses, I really want a turbo SS. I will have to keep my eyes open for one. I have never actually seen one in person or for sale locally, but I really would like to snag one someday. I have tasted boost on probably a half dozen cars already, and something like these Legacy's seems like it would be a unique, solid boostmobile to preserve and tinker with.

I have been a car enthusiast for probably a decade now, and recently I have gotten into motorcycles.

I have had Miatas, BMW E30s, Civics, a 240sx, a couple of G20s, and even an Impreza Outback. I also had one turbo car before, a 1987 Plymouth Sundance. I have the before and after pics below (RIP). Right now i am driving my favorite "JDM classic," a 1989 Acura Legend 5-speed coupe. It's very clean, and I am only the second owner! Anyways, I have always liked Subarus, but i didn't know much about these Legacy's until a few months ago. Reading about the closed deck and the opportunity for late-model mods has piqued my interest.

Anyways, just thought I'd create an account so I can learn about these cars in the hopes that I will find one someday.

BTW, the last photo on here is my girlfriend's car. It's a 5-speed, too. Jealous? ;)

My favorite will always be OHMY PSI. I told a friend in college that I would get that on my first turbo car. The funny thing is, my front plate really took a beating when I got in the accident in the Sundance (some guy pulled right out in front of me). Now that plate is mounted on my garage wall. I have 4-5 other license plates lined up, and then there is the mangled one from the wreck. Kinda like a battle-torn soldier on my wall.

I live in Richmond... profile has been updated. I grew up here, then went to college in Kentucky, and then moved back here. It's nice to finally have garage and/or driveway space for some toys!

Right now I have a somewhat tattered 1988 BMW 325is that I am working on. I picked it up at an auction for a song, and it came with free golf clubs in the backseat!

Once that car is sold I will turn some attention to Legacy info.

Is it safe to assume that when someone has an SS turbo on here for sale, it goes for a fairly strong price? As rare as they are, I would think it could turn into a bidding war to sell a turbo Legacy on this forum.

No its not safe to say. I had mine with 10k in mods for sale for only 3K with an additional ej22t motor with VF-11 turbo, an extra saab IC setup, a summer set of wheels, a winter set of wheels, and an extra set of konig wheels also and any subaru related crap I have in the garage and no one bit on only 3K.

I am now parting off all my "free" stuff that was going with the car origanally and keeping the car.

This has been by far the biggest money pit project I have ever had!
