Splitting The EJ22T Case Can't Remove The Last Little Bolt

I've just finished stripping my EJ22T to sell the case halves to another forum member. I've come across a problem. The factory service manual tells me there are 17 bolts. 6 long ones on one side, 2 long ones on the other side along with 9 short bolts on the same side. I removed all of these bolts and happened to notice an 18th bolt that is not mentioned or drawn in the diagrams of the FSM.
It definately appears to be holding the block together on the bottom of the inside of the engine. Problem is, I can't get it out. There's basically no room whatsoever to get a socket and ratchet on it and if you use an extension you can get somewhat on the head of the bolt but the extension has to be at such an angle that if you try to loosen the bolt it just strips it. I tried a box end wrench but there's not even enough room to get that on. I tried the open end and that just stripped it too.
What do I do? How do I get that damn bolt out?
