Would anyone here buy a used rack, or know of a good source for a remanufactured part.

Also if it makes sense to upgrade this to another compatible part with a different ratio, etc let me know.

Yes, find an STi rack and have a shop convert the input shaft to fit the GC chassis. STi racks typically go for $300 on the boards.
