shift light question?

ok so i picked up a shift light 5 years ago and just now found it again after moving a few times and all that good stuff. so i was going to install it on my 93 legacy turbo but i don't want to go messing around the ecu with out asking if i have this right first lol 
the pin out that i was going to use is this one that i got from on here. http://www.surrealmirage.com/vrg3/ecupins/
the shift light has three wires red,black,green. from what i remember reading when i first got it- black was to ground, red was to ignition and green went to rpm signal.
from that pin out would i hook up----
BLACK to ground--duh
RED to B58.12 Ignition switch ????
GREEN to B56.16 Engine tachometer output ???
sorry if this seems like a dumb question but i don't want to mess anything up. thanks for the help
