WESTCOAST SUBIE OWNERS

well, my dad made the trip from vancouver to las vegas this week.
bad news though. after worrying about a few problems that seemed to kinda fix themselves, a new problem developed.
the front diff.

so he's down there now and will attempt to drive it home next week.

if he cant make it and the car does break down or the diff seizes it will be up for quick sale. if he makes it up he will probably part it out.

this car is mint.

canadian car 1992 tw
120 km
new front rear bumpers
td05
07 i/c
some new sensors, axels, brakes
everybody panel is mint
interior is mint
lights, tails ect in great condition
tranny replaced at 75,000 km.

also, the car may be kept if the front diff can be replaced for cheap.
the dealership wanted 8,000 us for the job.
they say the diff is loose and noisy.

so, this car could break down anywhere or anytime along the west coast. it will be available on short notice if someone wants it.

or, if he parts it out, it will be in vancouver bc.
as stated above the parts are mint.

i will update asap.

thanks
Ryan

Before you go parting anything out, if you get it back to vancouver, I have an automatic transmission that would fit in that car that I'd sell you for $300, known to be in good working order.

You'd probably be looking at about $1000 for a shop to install it for you.

What color is the interior? I would be interested in the headliner and also the seatbelts if a part out was to happen.

Thanks,

Are you serious???? They are aware you can buy an entire used WRX for that price right?!!!!!!!! No one in their right mind would agree to that repair bill.

ridicolous price.

splinter, long time since i seen you on here. i hope your build is going well. what a monster it shall be. how much for you to put the tranny in to? and then is it worth it. the tranny was just replaced with a brand new one? lemons anyone?

the interior is black and gray, car is black.

i'll probably take the hood, turbo, and two front doors if they fit my 93 ss.

for anyone reserving parts now, prices will be reasonable and discussed at a later date.

although the diff is busted, almost every part on this car is in mint condition. my dad is a neat freak and the p/o was an elderly lady

i wish i had some pictures of it.

the 17's will probably be held for local sale

The PO was an elderly lady and she had it modified that way? Pretty cool lady.

BTW, what kind of 17" rims are on it?

If it is in Vancouver and the whole car is for sale I may be interested. I am in the Okanagan area and have access to a trailer.

If you part it out, I'm interested in the front seatbelts.

as far as the washington guys go. you guys can call your parts and whatever and then maybe it would be cheapest for me to send everything down in a crate, or someone to rent a van and rip up.

i know there is not alot of vancouver peeps up here so i think the majority of buyers will be down there.

or i could drive the car down there to someone's farm and u guys can rip it apart :-D
