Ok. Here is my question. I have literally every single bushing on my car gone.... So i thought in the process of replacing the bushing i thought maybe i can use some other parts to increase the handling of my 93 Legacy Turbo.

I know as far as bushing that i need but the parts that are metal have been hit hard. Hard with a Canadian winter... So everything thats metal is rusty....

So in saying that what Gen. of Subaru can a swap parts off of?


Im after the following parts:

Lateral links
Trailing arms

Anything else that can be better than old stock but still subaru. Like STi stuff maybe? Any one running STi suspension parts in the rear? or even the front??

As far as lateral links i personally am using some adjustable ones for the wrx made by godspeed - quite sweet.All suspension arms and crossmember ect is the same as non turbo legacys of the same era,and a lot if not most wrx stuff also works.

Most Legacy and Impreza parts up to 99 will fit as well.

Minty! wrx and 99 impreza and down work! Ill see if i can find some nice clean Impreza 2.5 RS laterals.

What about using 02-03 buy eye impreza stuff? Im thinkin that may be too new. But hey it was worth a shot.

Any aluminum parts that may work aswell??

I should have phrased that differently. 93-01 Impreza suspension will work as well as 90-99 Legacy suspension.

The I believe the 02-03 WRX wagon stuff may also be the same....for the parts you are lookin for.

Josh, will later year WRX wagon parts work as well? I believe the FSB I bought was from an 05 WRX wagon. I know the sedan parts won't work though.

Forgive me.....FSB = Front strut brace or Front sway bar?

The sway bar I think would work....not sure about the strut brace.

I think it'll work with the turbo legacy. I don't seen any reason why it won't.

I believe there's a few threads discussing this. You may want to search and see what you come up with.
