Depends from the wheels. Be sure you have the correct offset. In Subarus the offset is generally much bigger. In my 215/55/15 Momo's the offset in the wheels is 50 mm.

The rims on my Legacy are original Subaru from a Impreza GTT 1996
The tires are size 205/55R15

195/60/15 ~= 205/55/15
Original size is 195/60 and my tires are 205/55...no speedo change from 195/60(winter tires)

I am now using the 205-55-15 on my 92 Legacy turbo with the stock rims without any problem!
