Questions and advice on my ej22t dohc build

I am currently doing research and gathering parts for a ej22t short block and ej20h dohc heads hybrid.
I plan on only keeping the ej22t crank and replacing rods bearings and getting forged pistons.
The loss of compression is what I am currently dealing with and I have an option of getting a set of Eagle rods with a longer stroke for a really good price. This is where I need some help.
I measured the following components:
stock Sti rod from inside the crank journal to inside of wrist pin.....3.61"
the Eagle rod in question from inside the crank journal to inside of wrist pin.....3.655"
stock ej22t HG... .067"
a .045" longer stroke will leave .022" between the piston and head
Is this acceptable?
Is it ok that the piston will extrude from the block by .045"
Will there be interference with the HG?
Also I have not chosen a piston for this combo and would like suggestions.
I will be doing a cc comparison between the ej22t heads and the ej20h heads to get an idea of compression ratio changes
Thanks,
Maciek
