Got your attention huh? So as many of you know I'm new to the Subys. I had to replace all the tranny lines the other day when I got it cause it sat for 6 years and they rotted. I've been getting a leak lately and couldn't figure out where it was from. then I noticed what look like 2 vent hoses coming from the top and one looks like thats where it's coming from ... I think I may have filled it too much.
How many quarts am I supposed to use? On an N/A Auto btw

The trans fluid level should be checked with the dipstick.
Make sure you are using the correct dipstick, there is a short one for the diff oil and a long one for the transmission fluid.
Warm the motor and transmission, run it through all the gears, put it into park or idle and leave it idling. Check the fluid level with the dipstick while the motor is running.

yeah actually right after I posted this .. i took a breather and thought about it. When I filled it I saw 8.8 quarts ... so that's what I put. Then I just hit myself in the head because stupid me didnt think about that that was DRY. I didn't think about the torque converter holding 4 quarts still. Stupid automatics. Give me a freakin manual ....
