You couldn't have asked for a better car. After 193K miles the mechanic said the timing belt was shot. There are many good parts on the old girl if anyone near Cumberland, Rhode Island wants her. I have to get rid of the complete car within the next few days so if there are no takers she is going to the scrap yard.
Dark grey with light grey cloth interior. Automatic. Damaged drivers side front quarter (have a replacement fender). Has four alloys from a 2001 WRX with new tires that have less than 5K miles on them.
Please make me an offer for the complete car. I'm sorry I can't sell her in pieces. I have pictures if anyone is interested.

Is it AWD? Also, the timing belt snap, or is it still running?

It is FWD not AWD.
I'm not sure if the timing belt has snapped. A friend was driving it when the car completely lost power despite attempts to press the accelerator. The car had to be towed and the mechanic suggested it was the timing belt. When he gave the estimate for repair that is when it was decided that enough money had been spend fixing the car.
If I can determine in some way if the timing belt has indeed snappped without tools I'm happy to do that.

If you've got a 10mm socket or wrench, just remove one side of the t-belt cover. Take you 5 minutes.

Sounds like a snapped belt to me. When I first got my first legacy I was passing a truck and horse trailer and 2 other cars

when all of the sudden the engine died, the lights came on and the accelerator had no response. I wasn't all the way passed the people I had just passed so I was forced to coast along in the left lane while they all passed me and then pull over off the side of the road.
The timing belt had snapped on me. I think it had 155,000 miles on it. Because under the hood I think it said 120,000 timing belt and the odometer read 275K!
But on another note, the same thing happened to me again 2 or 3 weeks later going up a hill. But the engine didn't die, it just revved sky high on me and no power to the wheels and I rolled backwards down the hill. Tranny died on me that time.

I think it is worth a few minutes of everyones time to check to see if the timing belt has actually snapped. I'll try to get to it tomorrow and post an update.

It did not necessarily had to have snapped. Could have just skipped a few teeth. Regardless a cheap repair to get a perfectly fine car on the road.
