I cant belive I found a forum that is all about the older legacys!

a quick history leson about my car.
it was my aunts car to begin with, she upgraded to a newer legacy in 05 and my partents bought here old one with about 90k miles on it. my brother drove it his senior year and my sister drove it for here first year of collage. once I turned 16 I got my lisence and qucikly began seeing potential in the legacy even though it was a 93 legacy l. it became mine with about 120k on it and I started fixing here up from ground up, and belive me she wasent to pretty, but I loved the 4wd and saw potential within here, and here she is... well sofar

No its cool. You just might have to get used to a not so NASIOC type forum. There is not nearly as much action going on here as there is in a lot of other bigger forums.

Why not?
By the looks of it, it seems better then all the other cheapy lookin strut brace that I see all over eBay

the big question is though, would it even fit?

i bought those fender braces livestrong is or was selling. Definitely made a noticeable difference car feels way more solid i still hear a few tiny noises in the dash but significantly quieter. With a strut brace should be perfect.

Get some lowering springs or coilovers next and it'll look even better!

Looks good as is, though!

Struts and spring are next up the list, within the next few weeks

with the strut brace I'm hoping to eliminate the dash noises so I think I'm going to give it a shot.

But does anyone know if that strut brace will acually fit my legacy?

Thanks for the comments

Yes that strut brace will fit.

The combination of the front strut brace with some fender braces (the ones made by Livestrong) eliminates ALL of the creaking and cracking noises in the dash area.

Got a link to the fender braces?

You'd need to PM Livestrong14 to ask him if he has any left, if not you can buy these ones from Turn-in Concepts, although they're a little more expensive.

thanks

At first I had sanded those parts down to give them a nice polished aluminum look but the color quickly begain to change so I had to paint them. To me I think the blue looks sort of ricer style but whatever atleast it mAtches the intake lol

I've never seen that particular bar before but it should fit. However, you may need to do some "adjustment" to the underside of the hood on the driver's side where the bar has the bend. Other bars have a clearance issue there. Some have used a hammer to beat the hood reinforcement down a bit so there is no metal-to-metal contact.
