And What exactly is that? They used these cars as Mail cars? SO the Gov't Brought them in?

RHD Legacy wagons are pretty common. They were used, not by the government, but by contracted private mail carriers in rural areas. I *believe* anybody could buy them if you wanted to order one, but I'm not positive.


Perfect twin turbo swap candidates. But most are pretty beat up and some of the RHD trim, like door panels, can be hard to replace.

You're exactly right. My neighbor ordered his in RHD direct from the dealer.

There are Canadian importers for all kinds of older rhd cars, though this is probably a postal wagon.

I just saw one of these today driving in RI. My girlfriend said "WTF that guy is on the wrong side!" I explainded the whole mail carrier story to her...

I just thought Cars had to be a certain age to import into Canada.. Like Say for personal use, is that diffrent?
