it drove fine, but looking under the hood when i got home, i know the vac lines are not correct.

It was owned by an old lady before me for 4 years, so i dont think she would be interested in doing anything to the boost.

is there a vac lines mapping?

in general the cars pulls really strong, when im lifting off the throttle there is a slight bucking. maybe the vac lines?
thanks in advance

Welcome to the board! Nice SS looks pretty clean. Can you take some pics of the engine bay? Is the charcoal canister still in place? Do you see the boost and purge solenoid?

Here is a vacuum diagram

Yup, just adjust the slack in the cable by adjusting the nuts that holds the throttle cable in place at the throttle body.

is the oil sensor leaking? Trying replacing the sensor if it still trips it aint lying. Do you have oil actually ;)

i did replace the sensor with a napa one, or should i ......how about the wire connector? does that need to be cleaned or replaced?

i havent changed the oil yet....it seemed a little low (just got the car a few days ago). should i use dino oil or syn, or a blend?

i also heard that the oil pump mounting screws could be backing out. or loose valve covers. the engine sounds normal, no abnormal slapping or crunching sounds. i have an sti....and sounds similar (quiete) but nothing out of the ordinary......

any other ideas?

Get a OEM sensor? I used a generic sensor on my other car before and it worked, but you have the same think with the oil light coming on even after replacing the sensor? Do you have any significant oil leaks.
