Hey everyone! I was wondering what turbo's are out there with the 90 degree inlet from the intake side of the turbo. Im asking this question because the stocker has that 90 degree deal and that looks clean. Aswell im totally after the stock look and that 90 degree elbow looks cleaner in my opinion than my VF39 with a silicone elbow. Thats too much flash man!

The only turbo that comes to my mind with the matchin elbow is the TD05 16g. Any others??

Aswell im after close to stock boost performance. Plus im after higher cfm's and cheap! Like im NOT going to bust the bank for a turbo! The more easy it is to install the better.

Thanks people!

VF8, 10 from Early JDM Legacies.

TD04, TD05 from Early WRXs.

There might be a few more, but those are by far the most common.

Sweet! So this TD05 is this turbo comparable to a vf39?
The VF8 and 10 what would they be close to now adays?

Im after a turbo with rock solid reliability and be able to be rebuilt easliy in north america. Not like the vf39 which is fairly hard to do so.

The VF-8 spools later and has more top-end than a USDM TD-04.

Others here have run the -05 and -39's and can compare them for you with the typical 22T setup.

Rebuildabilty I have no idea.

Cool Cool. Well i know i cant get my VF39 rebuilt... They will rebuild it if i give them a rebuild kit for the turbo. The place im dealing with is Western Turbo. I know for a fact i can get a TD05H 16G rebuild kit. Just look on egay and you can find them.

Any other specs about the TD05H 16G? Like does it just drop right on in? I think it does but im not for sure about that.

Aswell. What would be the stock turbo for a 94 WRX Or the turbo out of a 94WRX STi??? I have a buddy buyin on of them soon. And i could scoop up the stock turbo for cheap!!

The coolant lines for the TD05 need to be altered....or you need to swap the ones from the vf11 on.

It's pretty straight forward though.
