I finally decided to take off my ghetto 15 dollar mickey mouse driving lights and install a set of piaa 1200 series driving lights I've had kicking around since I bought them back in 97 for my civic and never installed them.

I went ahaid and cut out the black trim pieces in the factory locations and started fitting them up to see how I was going to mount them.

when pulling one of them out from under the bumper cover the plastic connector on the end of the lamp housing caught the bumper cover and it slipped right out of my hand hitting the concrete garage floor with a distinct glass crack sound following.

Fuck me! a brand new set of 200 dollar driving lights ruined and I cant find a replacement lense anywhere because they are discontinued.

Thought I'd share my pain with you all...

first place I looked actually. Figured some other dumb ass like myself had one broken and wanted to sell the good one. Also tried piaa themselves. no luck.

Went and bought some cheap ass set for 20 bucks at advance. since I already hacked up the factory covers I need to stick something in there.

I was trying to see if I could make a hybris between the two and looks like I'll only be able to use the piaa wiring.
